A ‘ONE OF A KIND’ ACTIVATION TO LAUNCH A FRESH, NEW STREAMING SERVICE
I was asked to help launch ITVX and bring to life their tagline “The UK’s freshest streaming service” in a memorable way. I liked the idea of an ad that didn’t feel like an ad. I wanted to create an activation that rewarded users with treats. I started thinking “What else is fresh, fun and free?”
I landed on this idea for the worlds first popcorn dispensing billboard which seemed like a perfect fit for a new streaming service full of great boxsets and movies.
Thousands of people dropped by the billboard during the three day pop up event and ITVX received lots of great press and publicity. The best thing for me though was seeing members of the public spinning the logo, smiling and having fun with the brand.
